We Believe...

The bible is true
jesus is lord
faith is the victory
love never fails
jesus is coming again soon

Declaration of faith

The following is the declaration of faith of Victorious Life Church and Ministries, Inc. based on the foundational truths taught in the Bible. All of our teaching and ministry is rooted in and flows out of these biblical doctrines.

jesus Christ

We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and was born of a virgin.
Matthew 1.23-25

sinless life, sacrificial Death, glorious resurrection

We believe He is the only absolute sinless man this world has ever seen or known. He was pronounced guiltless by his judges, and yet he was delivered up to be crucified. He died a sacrificial death on the cross, atoning for the sins of the whole world. He arose bodily from among the dead and ascended into Heaven. He is now seated at the right hand of God the Father, acting as man’s intercessor with God until the end of the age.
John 19.4,6,16; John 20.15-16; Acts 7.56; Romans 8.34

holy spirit

We believe God sent the blessed Holy Spirit into the world to convict the sinner and empower the Believer.
Acts 2.38; Acts 1.8

second coming

We believe Jesus Christ is coming again in person, first in the air to gather his saints, and later in great power and glory to the earth. He will bring judgment upon all mankind who have rejected His full and free salvation from sin through His shed blood, which is the only atonement for sin
Acts 1.11; 1 Thessalonians 4.17; Acts 17.31; Romans 2.16;
2 Timothy 4.1

Tri-unity

We believe in the Holy Tri-unity of God. We believe that the persons of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit exist together in one essence as the one true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as revealed to us through Jesus Christ.
Matthew 3.16-17; Hebrews 1.3

Word of god

We hold to the Bible as the undeniable inspired Word of God, which is the final word of authority for our fellowship concerning matters of morality and church doctrine.
2 Timothy 3.16

salvation

We believe that salvation is God’s free and complete pardon through one’s belief in God’s son Jesus Christ and his sacrifice for our sins on the cross.  Furthermore, it is the act of one acknowledging and repenting of their sins before God and believing that God raised Jesus from the grave for our Justification. Finally, one must confess their faith in Jesus as their savior and lord and then God seals them with the Holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption.
Romans 10.9-10; Ephesians 1.13-14

baptism of the holy spirit

We believe in the Baptism in the Holy Spirit as a second experience subsequent to salvation for believers who have already been born again.  The Baptism in the Holy Spirit anoints the child of God with power for witnessing, service, and the the bestowal of spiritual gifts. Every believer is entitled to, should expect, and earnestly seek the promise of the Father “the baptism in the Holy Spirit,” according to Christ’s command.
Luke 24.49; Acts 1.4-5; Acts 2.4, Acts 8; 1 Corinthians 12.1-31

healing

We believe in divine healing as a vital part of the gospel.  It is provided for in the atonement (the work of Christ on the cross) and it is a right granted by Jesus as believers to lay hands on the sick, anointing them with oil in the name of the Lord, so that they shall recover.
Isaiah 5.5; Matthew 8.16-17; Mark 16.18; 1 Peter 2.24; James 5.14-16

body of christ

We believe that the Church is the Body of Christ, a habitation of God through the Holy Spirit, that has been given divine appointments for the purpose of fulfilling “The Great Commission” given by Jesus Christ to His Church.  Every believer (born of the Spirit) is an integral part of “The General Assembly, The Church of the Firstborn”, and has his/her name is written in heaven in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
Mark 16.15-16, Ephesians 1.22-23; Ephesians 2.22
